Meet Our Great Pyreneese, Willow and Evie
Raising Great Pyrenees
Raising Great Pyrenees isn't for everyone. These dogs have a mind of their own and are a working dog breed. They need an owner that is strong and commanding, but also loving and able to handle their personalities. We love our Great Pyrenees here at the Pierce Ponderosa. We enjoy their hard work protecting our animals and also love their sweet dispositions with our family. They are very protective animals and might not be friendly to strangers. They must have good fencing. They will wander off guarding their territory. They can be stubborn and strong willed, because they are meant to make the decisions when protecting livestock and keeping predators at bay. For our farm, they are the perfect dog and companion.
